Do What You Love, Love What You Do

In our day to day life, We do a lot of activities. Activities which play a major role in how we spend our most important asset, Time.

There are 3 major emotions which controls our actions.
Two of which are 1. Greed & 2. Fear
Usually whenever we do something we ask ourselves,
What I'll get out of this? or What If I don't do this?

Both of these factors leads to achievements but does not really give satisfaction or contentment in life. During the process of putting efforts focus remains on end result. Even after accomplishments one feels empty at last.

There could be a third driving factor : LOVE
Acting out of love for actions. Doing thing cos we really want to do them.
There is no fear of losing or greed of getting something, yet we give our 100% as we love doing the task. When our actions are based on love for the task, it does not tire as at all. We derive more energy doing the task.
There is a beautiful story from the life of Swami Ramtirtha. Once he was traveling in Himalayas. He had his stuff on his head in the form of a bundle. Though it was not too much yet he was feeling tired. In the meantime he saw a small teenage girl who had her younger brother nearly double the weight of load Swamiji had, on her shoulder & she was hiking with double the speed of him. He felt astonished as he was a well grown up man yet he was feeling tired while hiking keeping a small load on him & this small girl was not looking tired at all.
Out of curiosity, he stopped the girl & asked,"beta, i want to ask you a question. how come keeping a heavy load on your head you are able to rise so fast. don't you feel tired?"
He had mentioned this incident in his diary. He has noted the answer he got from the girl. The girl got furious & said, "Swamiji, You are lifting a load, he's my younger brother." Swamiji  wrote that he learnt a very important lesson that where there is love, there is no tiredness.

We, as a human need to learn doing things out of love. Either we should Do what we love, if not then love what we do.
