#HappyBdayDineshGhodke

On the Bday of beloved Dinesh Bhaiya, written a few lines for him.

Surya sa Tej, Chandrama si sheetalata
medha hai teekshna, Aur parvat si dridhta
Dekhein jab unko to hai jeevan khilta
Aur main kahta:

Su-Madhur hai vaani, hai saumyata ka pehra
Aankhein jaise koi samundar ho gehra
Sangat mein jinki man ko sukoon milta
 Aur main kahta :

Prem hai jeevan ye sab ko sikhaye,
prem se jode aur uske paar le jaye
ho attachments, to vo Anti-virus ka kaam karta
Aur main kahta :

Sundar hai tan jinka sundar hi man hai
karoron dilon ka jo Youth Icon hai
Sadhana,Seva aur Satsang ki dhooni ramata
Aur main kahta :

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday !!!
May you keep on inspiring minds all over the world.
lots of love & Jai Gurudev

Story Time: Ganesha's Marriage

After the birth of Ganesha, one more son was born to Lord Shiva and Parvati. He was Kartikeya. The two children grew up in the divine abode of Kailash. One day, the parents were casually discussing about their marriage, when both the sons happened to be around.

Both of them said, "I want to marry first".
The Mother said : "All right, but we will keep one condition. Between you two, the one who will go round the whole world and return first, shall be married first".

Kartikeya immediately took off on his peacock and started his journey round the earth (His Vahana was peacock). Ganesha was in a fix. On the one hand, he was bulky and short-legged, and on the other, his vehicle was a tiny mouse.
He thought for a while brought two cushioned seats and made his parents sit on them. Then he went round them seven times and stood before them with folded hands and said ' "I have gone round the world not once, but seven times. Now please arrange for my marriage".
The parents were amused. They asked : ''How?   How have you gone around the whole world, over the great oceans and mountains and continents ?"
Ganesha smiled and said: "The shastras say that worshipping one's parents and going round them is equal in merit to going round the world".
The parents were happy at the intelligence of Ganesha and they decided to perform his marriage. At an auspicious hour, they married him to the two beautiful daughters of Viswaroopa, namely Siddhi and Buddhi.

Kartikeya returned from his journey round the earth only to discover that Ganesha's marriage had already been solemnized. He became so sad that he decided to relinquish Kailash. The parents tried to console him, but in vain. He also decided not to marry, and remain a “Kumara" forever. So, after taking the parent's permission and prostrating to them he went to the mountain called Kraunch. The mother was indeed very sad at the separation of her darling son.
One day both Shiva and Parvati went to the Kraunch mountain to see their son. They were over joyed to see him surrounded by learned men, Yogis and Siddhas. That was the Kartik Purnima day. After spending a few days with Kartikeya, they persuaded him to return to Kailash with them. Kartikeya agreed, but when he started, the Rishis and others entreated him to stay with them and impart to them divine knowledge and devotion. Kartikeya consented to do so, and thereafter stayed permanently on the Kraunch mountain.
Thereafter, Kartik Purnima became a very auspicious day for the darshan of Lord Kartikeya.
From that time onwards, Shiva and Parvati decided to visit their son by turns on Amavasya (New Moon day) and Purnima (Full Moon day) respectively.

My Personal Experience with SRI SRI

The story I am sharing below is my personal experience on  March 21st, night 11.50.pm -12.05 am. Story  also reflects how GURUJI works.

This all happened on 21 March. I came back to home after dropping some YES!+ Volunteers at Birla Auditorium. It was 10 pm and I was reading a book lying on my bed. Suddenly Jhuppy (Praveen Anwala) came & asked me about what i was doing, I told him that I was reading a book. He asked me to get ready. I asked, "for what ?"  He said to go to Ashram. I replied that I didn't want to go. He still insisted & finally I had to go.
As soon as we reach ashram at gate, we saw GURUJI going inside, we ran to see HIM. When we reached inside He had already  gone up @ 3rd floor by lift. Me & Jhuppy took the same lift back and went up. Reaching up we saw that HE was meeting ppl & talking to a teacher (Kavita Ji), after that GURUJI went inside (& gave instructions for everyone to leave)
Some ppl left after this.

I was there with other AOL teachers. Suddenly from within I felt a deep urge to meet GURUJI.I asked Dheeraj Bhaiya that I want to meet Guruji. He told that Guruji has already said everyone to go & sleep. I said, "pls go & ask Guruji that Chandan is waiting outside to meet U. If HE says that I cant, I'll leave'. Bhaiya went inside & came out at once & told me that Guruji has called me inside.

I went directly to HIM & sat by HIS feet. Entire room was filled with totally different, divine energy.

Guruji said, "Chandan, khoob khusboo faila raha hai"

Usually Guruji multitasks things, but this time HE was completely talking to me. With action, words,....
He pulled me towards HIM n I 'liptofy' to HIS golu -polu tummy. (HE was wearing a half sleeves 'baniyan' & dhoti n HE's so so so very soft)

I said, "Guruji, log apse milne nahi dete (GURUJI, people don't let me meet you). Aap par bhi kabja jama lete hain (they keep a hold on even you too)"

Guruji said, "ab to mere paas aa gaya hai na, logon ki baat chhodo (now you are with me, leave about people) then HE said, "achcha bata tujhe kya chahiye" & kept HIS palm over my head (that touch was miraculous....)

I said, "Guruji, 9 saal ho gaye. Shuru shuru mein jab maine course kiya, first thing I asked my teacher ki kaise Aapke nazdeek aaya jaye? Unhone kaha Seva karo to khoob seva ki, fir kaha ki teacher ban jao to vo bhi ban gaya. Abhi bhi log obstructions create karte hain.
GURUJI said, "haan mujhe pata hai, bula liya na maine tujhe"
HE looked at me, I looked at HIM then I said, "Guruji, I was nothing other than you"
With affection in HIS eyes, HE said, "I know."

Fir bolte hain, "achcha tujhe kurta dete hain (then HE winked HIS eyes, looked at my kurta & said) par hamara utna style wala nahi nahi hai. Then HE gave me kurta again asked for Chocolates to give me, Swamiji forwarded 'fruits & nuts (dairy milk), HE instructed to a heart shape Chocolte box & said vo wala do' & gave both. Then stared at me with lots & lots of love ( I can still feel it while writing this)

After that I hugged HIM, touched HIS feet again & came out of HIS kutir HAPPILY:)

Do What You Love, Love What You Do

In our day to day life, We do a lot of activities. Activities which play a major role in how we spend our most important asset, Time.

There are 3 major emotions which controls our actions.
Two of which are 1. Greed & 2. Fear
Usually whenever we do something we ask ourselves,
What I'll get out of this? or What If I don't do this?

Both of these factors leads to achievements but does not really give satisfaction or contentment in life. During the process of putting efforts focus remains on end result. Even after accomplishments one feels empty at last.

There could be a third driving factor : LOVE
Acting out of love for actions. Doing thing cos we really want to do them.
There is no fear of losing or greed of getting something, yet we give our 100% as we love doing the task. When our actions are based on love for the task, it does not tire as at all. We derive more energy doing the task.
There is a beautiful story from the life of Swami Ramtirtha. Once he was traveling in Himalayas. He had his stuff on his head in the form of a bundle. Though it was not too much yet he was feeling tired. In the meantime he saw a small teenage girl who had her younger brother nearly double the weight of load Swamiji had, on her shoulder & she was hiking with double the speed of him. He felt astonished as he was a well grown up man yet he was feeling tired while hiking keeping a small load on him & this small girl was not looking tired at all.
Out of curiosity, he stopped the girl & asked,"beta, i want to ask you a question. how come keeping a heavy load on your head you are able to rise so fast. don't you feel tired?"
He had mentioned this incident in his diary. He has noted the answer he got from the girl. The girl got furious & said, "Swamiji, You are lifting a load, he's my younger brother." Swamiji  wrote that he learnt a very important lesson that where there is love, there is no tiredness.

We, as a human need to learn doing things out of love. Either we should Do what we love, if not then love what we do.

Book I Enjoyed Reading: Many Lives, Many Masters

Many Lives Many Masters is a book I picked randomly just by seeing its title.
As i started reading it, I got confirmation about lots of my concepts (I am using word 'Concepts' as quite a lot of experiences mentioned in the book are not my experiences, but somehow I feel that they must be true).
The book gives us insight about LIFE (lives actually), its purpose(s), fears related to life & how to handle them.

The true story of a prominent psychiatrist, his young patient, and the past-life therapy that changed both their lives.
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
